In the Works

I am currently working on several projects. First off, I have started making jewelry. I started out by making a few pieces as Christmas gifts for friends and family members, and I have since fallen in love with the process (though I am learning quickly that it is an expensive hobby and quite time consuming, so I am not sure just how long I will keep it up). I will be listing some of these items on my Etsy shop over the next few months.
Other new additions to my Etsy shop include ACEO's (Art Card Originals & Editions) and miniature paintings, mostly involving animal life and scientific illustrations. There are a few of my other pieces that I am now offering in an ACEO format as well.
I start school this coming Monday. I am taking three classes (Design Fundamentals, Digital Photography, and Silk Screening), so I will be a very busy girl over the next five months. I hope to be able to squeeze in a little social time as well as personal creative time (in addition to everything previously mentioned, I am also working on a massive new series of paintings. Top secret for the time being). So forgive me, dear friends, if I go into hermit mode for a while. Every time you start to miss me, just watch "The Man Who Planted Trees". Perhaps you will understand a little better how my mind works.
